The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, implementing, executing and verifying specific Design and Build projects. Key areas of responsibility include setting and maintaining project schedules and budgets; providing timely project status updates relative to milestone completions, risk/opportunity potential and cost/revenue forecasting; and working closely with Proposal, Engineering, Supply Chain, Expediting, QA, Field Service, Finance, Legal, Insurance and HES departments and divisions to ensure successful project execution. You will function as the primary external contact on assigned projects, with a focus on exemplary customer service.
15+ years of experience in field design and installation of equipment systems; commensurate experience in the water purification industry also acceptable
Solid equipment and system knowledge to collaborate in the design of detailed water treatment system sequence of operations with other internal disciplines
Knowledge of environmental and safety compliance regulations
Experience in the contractor bid and review process in support of civil, building, pipe fabrication/installation and electrical and instrumentation scope of work within a project
Ability to successfully implement cost control methods and practices and provide installation cost estimating support during the pre-sales process
Ability to manage multiple equipment design, build and installation projects with values in the $10,000,000 to $30,000,000 range and proactively identify upcoming project risks, issues and bottlenecks
Strong group facilitation and conflict management skills, as well as ability to lead cross-functional teams and plan/prioritize concurrent projects
Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering degree preferred
Project Management certification (PMP) will be encouraged within twelve months of hire
Familiarity with SAP preferred
