SDSU invites applications and nominations for a 9-month, tenure-track position in the area of Transportation Engineering beginning in August of 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and to develop undergraduate and graduate courses, to advise undergraduate and graduate students, to guide student research, to develop an externally funded research program in the applicant’s area of expertise, and to participate in outreach and service activities. Applications are invited in any area of Transportation Engineering. However, candidates with expertise in the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering and Management, and Sustainable Transportation Systems.
