We have an immediate opening for an Intermediate Bridge Engineer to join either our Saskatoon, SK or Regina, SK offices.
You will provide professional services to public and private sector clients and have the following responsibilities:
Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, report writing and other documents.
Design of culverts and standard highway bridges.
Perform assessments and inspections.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior employees.
Project management and engineering review of design drawings.
Analysis of stream hydraulics.
Tender document preparation and contract administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Have a minimum of 5 years of applicable bridge and hydrotechnical design experience.
Self-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and eligible for registration with APEGS.
Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with business development, client management and/or leading project tasks is considered an asset.
Knowledge of design codes (i.e. Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code: CAN/CSA-S6-06).
Good understanding and knowledge of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways & Infrastructure’s technical guidelines and standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated abilities in internal and external client interactions.
