This individual will ensure consistent quality of production by developing and educating good practices, validating processes, and providing documentation. Will also manage continuous improvement initiatives by preparing and completing action plans, implementing quality standards, identifying and resolving problems, completing audits, determining system improvements, and implementing change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Manage certified AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management system and product quality requirements for an electronics parts and materials analysis laboratory.
Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures.
Liaison with certifying bodies to ensure successful continued certification to industry and military standards.
Interface with customers to ensure compliance with program quality requirement
Coordinate development of Quality policies and operational procedures and work instructions.
Schedule expenditures, analyze variances, seek required approval from Leadership and initiate corrective actions.
Coordinator and lead auditor for the internal quality audit
Lead teams in root cause determination and verifiable corrective action.
Perform data analysis to support process and product improvements and present reports with recommendations to executive managemen
Manage facility and chemical laboratory safety and environmental compliance with local, state, federal and corporate requiremen
Manage supplier selection and performance evaluation process.
Coordinate equipment calibration and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance to customer and industry requirements.
Develop and present training on process, quality, safety and environmental
Hire and supervise direct reports, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks, training, time management, employee evaluations and performance management. Ensure that direct reports adhere to policies, procedures roles and regulations.
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
3-5 years QA experience in semiconductor industry with a thorough knowledge of quality systems, quality assurance and quality control.
Experience with leading and managing ISO9001 audits.
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing, with a strong ability to achieve collaboration.
Strong leadership qualities with ability to motivate, influence and inspire others.
Must possess a strong understanding of quality assurance concepts, best practices, and methodology.
Build rapport with employees, management team and outside organization in order to ensure high quality outcomes while continually seeking process improvement.
Remain highly organized and motivated, goal and people oriented and be able to operate independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Licenses/Certifications: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification preferred.
Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen in order to work on sensitive military and aerospace programs.
