The Transportation Engineering Analyst assists in conducting various transportation and traffic related investigation, research studies, report writing, and consultation services for internal staff, other public agencies and officials, and the general public. As the successful candidate, you will apply basic professional engineering theory, principles, and methods and using field data when conducting multi-modal transportation and traffic analysis and investigations and in providing detailed written reports.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED & REQUESTED SKILLS:
- Completion of and passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE), AND
- One (1) year of experience applying professional engineering theory, principles, and methods.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
Applications will be graded based on the following preferred attributes. Applicants whose knowledge, experience, and skills most closely meet these attributes below will be invited to interview.
- Experience and/or education in civil and/or transportation engineering;
- Experience in transportation operations and safety; and
- Interaction with the public.
