Description: The Associate Project Leader is responsible for providing an exceptional degree of customer service for a high volume of clients while facilitating the completion of multiple projects under tight timelines. This position is expected to work independently, proactively addressing customer needs while remaining highly organized and self-motivated.
Coordinates efforts between WQA business development, the customer and the laboratory (internal & external) to facilitate a high volume of projects start to completion, remaining well organized under demanding deadlines.
Develops and maintains on-going, strong customer relationships with a high volume of assigned clients, with careful attention to detail.
Capability to learn industry specific standards related to the water treatment industry.
Keeps all project files extremely well organized and up to date.
Coordinates with laboratories (internal and external) to obtain test data, relay results and determine next steps.
Follows up with customers and projects to ensure all projects are up to date, customers are informed of projects status and all reports have been run. Ability to remain well organized and customer focused under pressure.
Maintenance of a variety of WQA databases to reflect project status. High degree of organizational skills related to database management and file maintenance.
Working with clients to develop quotations and proposals for product changes
Revising Standard Operating Procedures and/or forms as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree or two years of relevant experience.
One to three years managing a high volume of clients or projects under pressure, required
Strong customer service and project management skills under high volume conditions
Strong attention to details, highly organized
Aptitude to learn industry standards for drinking water treatment units, components, and additives, preferred
Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, database management and Outlook required.
Experience in the water treatment certification industry (i.e. NSF ANSI standards), desirable
Strong ability to communicate and collaborate cross-departmentally and a team player mindset required.
