The Dean serves as chief academic and administrative officer of the School of Engineering and is responsible for providing imaginative, effective, dynamic, and transformational leadership to ensure the school’s long-term success. It is a time of remarkable development for the School of Engineering. Since 2012, the school has dramatically expanded its facilities--adding five new buildings and 325,000 square feet of world-class research labs, state-of-the-art classrooms and enhanced collaboration spaces. Key areas of research expertise deliver strong economic impact for the state and region: Bioengineering, Catalysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Cybersecurity/Defense, Radar and Remote Sensing, RF Engineering, Structures, Unconventional Oil Recovery, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Water Quality.
