Performs testing and supports data analysis. Effectively documents and communicates results in a timely fashion working closely with Production and other Manufacturing personnel. Creates Inspection Reports as needed for production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform testing to qualify material manufactured by the production team for shipment to customers.
Organize and analyze high volumes of testing data.
Record, summarize, and report on testing data.
Ensures all gauges and test equipment are verified.
Support the development of improved Work Instructions for existing products and implement additional testing procedures for new products.
Participates in investigations of complaints and corrective actions as needed.
Assists with determination of root causes of non-conformances and recommends corrective actions.
Coordinates testing responsibilities to ensure QC test support according to the needs of Operations to maintain continuous process flow.
Interpret basic and advanced technical procedures to recognize testing irregularities.
Acts as a technical resource to production addressing issues related to quality.
Responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company.
Other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree or ASQ Certification.
At least 2 year’s experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail a must.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job in the Plant or Warehouse, the employee is exposed to noise and aluminum particles. The noise level is usually moderate but hearing protection may be required in designated areas. The employee is required to wear safety glasses when in the plant along with a hard hat, steel toe shoes and protective sleeves.
