Public Works Water Engineering is searching for an engineering specialist to provide a high level of engineering design work and project management to prepare plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for the construction of capital water projects. Projects include water distribution and transmission mains, all with minimal direction and under the supervision of the capital project engineer. Manage and track AutoCAD needs and assist others within the water engineering group to prepare capital water project plans. -Four (4) years of related experience with increasing responsibility performing technical engineering related to the design and construction of public works. -Equivalent to an Associate's Degree with major course work in engineering or related field. -Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
