A successful candidate must meet the following requirements: -
Ph.D. in related engineering, construction management, or a closely related field from an ABET accredited program giving him/her the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the commercial construction curriculum. Individuals with industrial or research experience in commercial construction are highly encouraged to apply. -
Applicants who are "all but dissertation" (ABD) will be considered for faculty positions at UTC; however, the degree must be awarded before August 1, 2020. -
Applicants should be willing to engage in a variety of instructional modalities, including online instruction, and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate students in research. -
This position also requires establishing working relationships with local industries for education, training, and research activities. -
