This new hire will work at our manufacturing center located at 3425 West Lathrop Drive in South Bend, Indiana. The Quality Manager II will report to a Quality Operations Director.? POSITION OVERVIEW Under the general supervision of the Quality Operations Director, the Quality Manager provides leadership at the plant for the development, implementation, and administration of the Quality function to ensure product safety, integrity, and conformance with respect to customer, Divisional, Corporate and regulatory requirements. This Manager is a member of the Plant Leadership Team and Regional Quality Leadership Team, responsible for formulating and executing a strategic quality plan for the business, managing vendor quality programs that impact the facility, and handling customer complaints through root cause analysis. The Quality Department Manager leads the development, implementation and maintenance of food safety programs such as HACCP, GMPs, Pest Control, Recall, Food Allergen and Environmental Monitoring. As a member of the Plant Leadership Team, this Manager has a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles within Quality and knowledge of these elements in other relevant functional areas so s/he can participate in the resolution of issues that have an impact beyond Quality and/or impact multiple areas.
