Description:
The Facilities Assessor role is responsible for scheduling, planning and performing initial and surveillance quality audits for WQA customers seeking various types of product and process certifications.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with the Business Development and Product Certification Departments to initiate audits for new customers.
• Responsible for scheduling initial and annual quality audits with the customer’s timelines.
• Prepare the audit documentation, using the facility assessment plan for all client visits, distribute information to clients and manage audit communications process.
• Visit the customer location and work with client’s internal quality team to quickly understand the manufacturing processes, documented procedures and products for the purpose of conducting quality control evaluations.
• Conduct review of product process design to determine if modifications have been made to products since the last audit.
• Prepare audit reports and checklists which capture non-conformances, evaluations and provide recommendations for quality improvements. Communicate findings internally and externally.
• Maintain and update internal database and reports regarding facility assessments.
