Water Pumping Plants Superintendent (SR-28)
Position Information:  Plans, programs, directs, and coordinates overall water pumping system operations activities; analyzes, and develops current and long range planning and budgetary requirements; establishes policies and procedures for the installation, repair, modification, maintenance, testing, and operation of electrical pumping plants, booster pumping stations, hydraulic turbine pumping units, water treatment and chlorinating stations, filter plants, aerators, tunnel gravity systems, reservoirs, and appurtenant equipment; works closely with professional engineers and analysts and directs a computerized control center operation to regulate pumping, water pressure and reservoir levels under normal and emergency conditions; establishes administrative polic
