Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team. Responsibilities include designing water resources engineering and other civil engineering projects; assisting with contract administration; preparing or directing the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects; serving as the project manager on various size projects; developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department; attending day and night client meetings as necessary. Travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have:

• a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited college or university
• at least five years of relevant work experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in CA within 12 months of start date

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Civil engineering design for water resource projects
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Water conveyance systems and facilities design project (e.g. canals, pumping plants, levees)
• Construction administration of civil engineering projects (particularly water resources projects)
• Project management
• Serving as a technical lead
