Kinetic Engineering (KEARS) seeks an experienced forensic Professional Engineer or Ph.D. to help grow our practice and promote excellence in the field of accident reconstruction. We are an independent, privately owned firm in Florida. 

The Senior Engineer will investigate and reconstruct motor vehicle accidents from A to Z, manage multiple projects as the lead with support staff, and offer expert opinions to clients in reports and legal testimony.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license OR a Ph.D. in engineering
• Demonstrated experience testifying in deposition and/or civil courts
• Demonstrated report writing
• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or civil engineering from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five (5) years of post-academic, forensic engineering experience
• Honesty and integrity
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to distill and explain complex topics to a lay audience
• Productive and resourceful work approach
• Familiarity with survey equipment, simulation software, EDR downloads, 2D and 3D analysis
• Proficient with computer programs including MS Office and video conferencing
• Physical ability to work outdoors in the Florida climate, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk, kneel, or squat for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to travel to Florida as required for work assignments and litigation
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
