General Summary:
The Quality Management System (QMS) Audit Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management to prepare and execute actions associated with the company's ISO 9001:2015 QMS internal and external audits and the content and currency of LSI's internal training program.
Essential Job Functions:
• Carry out regular internal audits for LSI’s company-wide ISO QMS.
• Manage the internal audit program to ensure it remains effective and up to date.
• Act as an objective source of independent validation and verification for LSI's ISO QMS program, including all primary and supporting documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, conduct, and submit complete internal audit reports to the Director of Quality Management for all ISO QMS processes twice a year.
• Coordinate external audits with our NQA external auditor, including escort duties and acting as communication liaison between auditor and auditee.
• Ensure any non-conformities found are listed in the appropriate internal audit report for entering into the CARPAR system.
• Conduct follow-up or special audits as needed when required by senior management.
• Stay current on ISO QMS Standard changes, updating or recommending for update documents of LSI's QMS as needed.
• Assist the Director Quality Management to oversee the CAR/PAR system.
• Assist the Director Quality Management to pursue other quality certifications as directed by company leadership.
• Recommend appropriate changes as a result of the internal and/or external audit results to LSI’s QMS.
• Update and maintain LSI's Enhance! online training offerings.
• Support the ISO Management Review Meetings as needed.
• Must be capable of safely handling government-furnished equipment and materials.
• Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
