UTILITY ENGINEER I & II – ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL
This classification works with other technical classifications engaged in drafting and design work on the utility distribution system, which includes water, sewer, electrical, and landfill systems. This classification may assist in preparing special studies, pre-design, design, and construction management on the City’s Utilities. Responsibility of assuring the continuous and reliable transmission and distribution of Utility resources (power, water, and sewer) to the City of Boulder City.    Manages Technical aspects of Utility Capital Improvement Projects. Improves and maintains efficient utility systems (substations, relays, feeder circuits, lift stations, sewer mains, water mains, pressure reducing valves, etc.) through effective design and standard operating procedures.
