Farnsworth Group is seeking an Industrial/SemiconductorPlumbing Designer. Proximity to our Austin or Frisco, TX, Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ offices is preferred, but remote/hybrid is available. In this role, you will provide plumbing design, interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors, and maintain plumbing/piping design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality. Projects will be in advanced manufacturing and technology markets.
Provide preliminary schematics and final designs
Perform calculations; provide equipment selection and layout
Prepare accurate construction drawings and specifications, submittal review and construction administration.
Provide quality control and mentoring to less experienced engineers
Specific Requirements include:
Minimum of Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field
5 - 10 years of experience in plumbing systems design
Knowledge of plumbing systems including a combination of waste and water systems, special waste systems, natural gas systems, medical gas systems, specialty lab gas systems and fire protection systems is ideal
ASPE CPDT/CPD certification, preferred
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
