POSITION SUMMARY: Under general direction of District Engineering staff, inspects the District, Bridge, Bus and Ferry facilities; and performs related duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs condition inspections of the District facilities. Inspects the work of contractors engaged under contracts with the District in construction of facilities capital improvement projects; makes recommendations for acceptance or rejection of work. Perform tasks in the quality assurance sampling and testing of construction materials for compliance with construction contract specifications.
