THE OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center is one of the nation’s foremost academic health science centers, working together with one of the nation’s premier health systems, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting for a clinical physician to see patients at a new location in Westchester County.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide the highest level of care to pediatric and adult patients in genetics. You will share the responsibility of teaching residents and fellows with the other attending physicians. Specific clinical responsibilities will be determined by the division chief in discussions with you, but in general terms, you will be involved in providing rapid and timely management of patients and dealing promptly with the calls and concerns of referring physicians. This position is 100% clinical and will consist of a combination of ambulatory sessions and inpatient consults.
Compensation arrangements are competitive and commensurate with both experience and achievement.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have a MD or DO degree and an active NYS Medical License
· Must be Board certification in Genetics
