The Department of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start as soon as September 1, 2026 in any area of Plant Biology. Although the search is unrestricted with respect to the research area or organism (algae to angiosperms), we are keen to hire a biologist who investigates molecular mechanisms.
