The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University invite outstanding applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in water resiliency engineering (80% extension, 20% research). Considering climate variability, expected sea level rise and the increasing probability of major drought and flooding events for the state and region, the importance of the optimum use and management of water resources will only escalate moving forward, especially with the high-value commodity crops that make up the North Carolina agriculture industry.
