Associate Professor – Structural Engineering and Materials The Charles E. Via, Jr. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Structural Engineering and Materials at the rank of Associate Professor, effective August 2023. Experienced and highly qualified applicants currently holding a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor are encouraged to apply.  We are seeking candidates motivated to contribute to a collegial, interdisciplinary community with a strong tradition of both fundamental and applied research. The CEE Department has 48 tenured/tenure-track faculty, with an additional 7 professors of practice. Five faculty are recent early investigator recipien
