Extension Educator - Climate Resiliency
The position of Open Rank Extension Educator – Climate Resiliency is being filled at the University of Nebraska in the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The successful candidate will be a member of the statewide Water and Integrated Cropping Systems (WICS) Team and will collaborate closely with colleagues, federal and state agencies, industry representatives, and crop producers. This person will develop and deliver extension programming focused on meteorology and climatology that: a) improves agricultural profitability and sustainability; b) reduces environmental risk; c) encourages good stewardship; d) enhances community and natural landscape resiliency; and e) expands awareness of climate smart management practices.
