General Manager
General Description The General Manager oversees the daily operation of the Power Commission, a public entity created under the Georgia Constitution, and develops and recommends short- and long-range plans, objectives, goals, and estimated budget to maintain adequate power supply, a sufficient physical plant, efficient operations methods, and sound fiscal management. Summary of Essential Job Functions Plans, negotiates, organizes, directs, and guides the management of all Power Commission functions to ensure the adequacy and reliability of the electric system Manages the financial and physical resources of the Power Commission Prepares an annual budget and manages the Power Commission’s resources within those budget guidelines
