The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking a part-time Project Engineer to provide planning and technical expertise in support of expediting Transportation System Management and Operations (TSMO) projects (e.g., roadway, tollway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian) in the region. The individual in this position will work an average of 20 hours per week and will be eligible for partial benefits.
The North Central Texas Council of Governments is currently permitting employees to work a hybrid schedule that consists of the equivalent of a minimum of two days per week in the NCTCOG offices in Arlington, Texas, and three days remotely from home within the Dallas-Fort Worth Region.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development. The planning area for transportation includes the 12 counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise.
