Transportation Engineer
OVERVIEW Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Transportation Engineer is responsible for the short and long-range planning related to the transportation network, management of the City’s traffic control devices, expansion of the active transportation system, and partnering in the delivery of public transit. The incumbent works under general direction and guidance from the Engineering Manager in order to achieve objectives. The Transportation Engineer is accountable for the Transportation Section. The Section has responsibility for traffic programs related to; safety improvement, accessibility, traffic counting, demand management, education and preparation of the annual traffic report.  The Transportation Engineer
