The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Gene Expression Center (PGEC) in Albany, California invites applications for a permanent, full time Supervisory Research Molecular Biologist/ Geneticist who will serve as the Research Leader (Center Director) for the program. The successful candidate will have expertise in plant molecular biology and/or plant genetics, and will be responsible for developing a research program in predictive agriculture that combines aspects of genomics and genetics, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, and/or metagenomics with computational biology to generate new tools for breeding that improve performance of agricultural crops.
