Senior Research Engineer
General Summary Eastern Michigan University’s GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology’s (GACET) Senior Research Engineer will lead our research efforts in the area of autonomous and self-driving vehicles.  The Senior Research Engineer will be a liaison with other technology companies working to transform today’s mobility landscape, by starting with a niche market: low-speed shuttles for public roadways.   This position will help develop research activities that can be used in the development of autonomous navigation of complex downtown scenarios and transporting hundreds of people within urban settings.  This position will facilitate the work with other companies and the American Center for Mobility to develop research programs around driverless
