Director of Development Services
The City of Hesperia is looking for a proactive, innovative, solution-oriented Director of Development Services who will facilitate a team-oriented and collaborative work environment. A Director who will oversee and manage the day-to day activities of the Development Services Department, which supports engineering, community development, planning, building inspection, plan check and zoning programs and consists of thirty-four (34) employees including four (4) direct reports. A visionary leader with a team mentality, politically astute and an effective project manager.  The new Director of Development Services will model the City’s high standards necessary for the professional operation of the department and set expectations and goals for efficient performance.
