RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate project plans, design calculations, and specifications, and lead coordination with other design disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering services.
• Attend meetings and site visits with clients as a representative of the firm.
• Lead site investigations to observe and document existing conditions and identify structural deficiencies.
• Perform condition assessments, load ratings, schematic designs and prepare written reports to summarize investigation results.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements.
• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes.
• Manage project design and deliverables.

• • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree a plus)
    • 5+ years of experience in Structural Engineering
    • NY PE required
    • Ability to manage projects and clients, delegate tasks, and mentor technical staff
    • Understanding and application of code requirements
    • Experience in using various structural analysis software
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
    • AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus

    • In person (Nyack, NY)
    • Full-time, in-office position
    • Typical office hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional flexibility as project needs allow
    • Relocation to Nyack, NY 10960 required
